“'Cumbres Visionadas' is a journey of the human soul”
Author Kassandra De Müller (Carmen Cabañero García) will present the third volume of her "Atmósferas" trilogy tomorrow in the cloister of the Villarrobledo City Hall
Kassandra De Müller (Carmen Cabañero García) will present *Cumbres Visionadas*, the third volume of the *Atmósferas* trilogy, tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. in the cloister of the Villarrobledo City Hall. The writer and painter spoke with *La Tribuna de Albacete* about the unique aspects of the work.
The third part of the Atmósferas Trilogy has just been released.
That’s right, Cumbres Visionadas has just been published. It is an introspective journey that follows in the footsteps of the previous volumes, exploring human emotions and reflections and inviting us to climb metaphorical peaks—within each of us—and reach our own heights of consciousness and self-knowledge. Cumbres Visionadas is a journey of the human soul that reaches its culmination.
Does 'Cumbres Visionadas' bring the cycle to a close? We are closing the cycle of what constitutes the journey of the human soul, but there is always a round-trip cycle; therefore, I am considering creating another trilogy about the journey to earth—a return—to bring that cycle to a close, so to speak.
What does this work explore?
As the title 'Cumbres Visionadas' suggests, it’s about practically finishing the journey, going through emotions and feelings, looking within ourselves; it’s a kind of catalyst for emotions, it’s transformative—looking at ourselves to turn the negative into positive. So, you reach that point where you find yourself as a human being; you already know who you are.
A personal work?
The trilogy stems, above all, from personal experiences, because writers and artists always contribute our own personal touch to the works we create. In this case, creating the trilogy was a truly transformative journey for me, stemming from certain circumstances in my life. I realized that we all go through the same stages on the soul’s journey, and we must learn, above all, to know who we are and what our mission in life is. There, you reconnect with your essence, and we’re all on that journey.
Is it possible to know what our mission in life is?
I think that when you hit rock bottom for whatever reason, that’s when change happens in people. If we’re in our comfort zone, it’s harder to take the leap and transform something. So, when you reach the depths, you have to rise again; you change mentally and transform everything.
Is it a self-help book, or does it go beyond that?
It’s a book about spiritual growth; you could also call it self-help. It’s a search for ourselves, and if that can be considered self-help, then of course—because you look inward through the poetic prose and the illustrations, which are also mine. Will you be presenting it? Yes, on the 27th, in the cloister of the Villarrobledo City Hall, at 7:00 p.m., and I’d like to take this opportunity to invite everyone, because I’ll be talking about *Cumbres Visionadas* and the rest of the trilogy, of course. A presentation in Albacete is also planned, but I still need to organize it. Since I belong to the Quijote Literary Association, last year I presented the second part, Reflejos Piramidales, at the Public Library, alongside Manuel Sánchez. In this case, I’d have to discuss it to see what date we can set. Will you continue with the next trilogy? Well, right now what I have pending is that second part, but since I also paint, I’m also focused on that because I want to hold a painting exhibition. I’ve already completed about 20 paintings, and I want to reach 35 to hold my first solo painting exhibition, which I’m really excited about. It’s a cohesive exhibition—it’s like a collection—so everything is still in progress.
